Perch is a performance collective based in Chennai, formed in 2006 by enthusiasts who want to push the creative envelope using theatre, film, music, art and various other forms of expression. Our members are from diverse backgrounds and include architects, designers, filmmakers, journalists, entrepreneurs, actors and musicians, among others.

Our aim is to produce work that achieves the highest standards of quality and rigor, focusing on constant visibility through a range of performances and events, from festivals that bring together music, dance, theatre and other art forms, to smaller, more intimate shows. We are engaging and experimenting with new ideas to cross boundaries, reach out to new audiences, and identify alternative performance spaces. We also look to forge lasting relationships with our collaborators and sponsors as well as the community.
